Getting started
From plugin upload to a working image URL in about ten minutes.
- Upload the plugin. WP Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose your zip → Install.
- Activate. Click Activate Plugin on the success screen.
- Resolve any host-prereq banner. If you see a banner about Plain permalinks or a missing
.htaccess, click the one-click fix or follow the instructions. This is the most common first-time issue and only needs to happen once. - Activate your license. Image Rotation → License → paste your license key and activation code (two separate strings — see the email we sent at purchase) → Activate.
- Create a schedule. Image Rotation → Schedules → New Schedule. Give it a name, choose a path and filename (for example
/image-rotate/status.jpg), then add image blocks for each time window. Days of week and HH:MM windows both supported, including overnight wrap-around. - Copy the URL. Each schedule shows its generated public URL on the schedule card.
- Embed it. Paste the URL into a ConnectWise ticket signature, an email signature, a partner portal — anywhere that accepts an image src. The URL never changes; the image at that URL changes on its own.
What to do next
- Set a schedule default image (Schedules → edit → Default image) so the URL never returns a transparent pixel.
- If you are on Business or Enterprise, hide the "Powered by Nereida Labs" admin footer line under Settings.
- Bookmark the error code reference for the day you need it.
